INKTOBER 2020

Inktober is a challenge created in 2009 by Jake Parker where a prompt list for the entire month of October is created for artists to interpret into daily ink creations. The artist posts on social media every day with the appropriate hashtags developing their skillset and positive drawing habits along the way. In 2020, I joined in the challenge again, and was able to complete the month. I wanted to establish an additional self-imposed rule for this round to make it a bit more interesting for myself. However, I knew I was going to be very busy, so I needed to stick to a simple concept. That concept was creating an ink blot or rough brush shape, then adding a layer of relevant pattern over the top.
